Although located inside a gated community in Pembroke Pines, the Hollybrook Golf and Tennis Club is reserved for residents only part of the year and opens to the public from mid-April until the end of October. The club features two 18-hole golf courses, the par-72, 6,516-yard PGA Course, and an executive par-3 course for short-game honing. The par-3 is 1,599 yards long.

Don Shula’s Golf Club
Don Shula’s Golf Club, in the suburb of Miami Lakes, features The Senator Course, which is regarded among Miami’s best Championship Golf Courses. A par-72, 6,982-yard course, The Senator Course opened to the public in 1962 and later underwent updates led by the renowned golf course architect Kipp Schulties.

Albert “Al” Hanley III is an accomplished transportation and logistics professional who holds a bachelor of arts degree from Boston College. The Colonel Michael Endres Award

Established transportation industry professional Albert “Al” Hanley III has provided executive leadership at the Transforce Group since 2018, where he serves as division president. Over the course of his career, Al Hanley III has been recognized with a number of honors and awards, including being named a finalist for the Colonel Michael Endres Award.

The Colonel Michael Endres Award recognizes individual excellence in veteran employment. Specifically, the award acknowledges those who go above and beyond the call of duty to positively impact employment opportunities for veterans and their families. The award is open to individuals working in the private or public sector, and is administered by Hiring our Heroes, a nonprofit organization that has connected the military community with employment since 2011.

Mr. Hanley’s contributions to veterans employment efforts stemmed from the Troops into Transportation initiative, a program that provides job training and CDL certifications to service members and veterans. A job-first program, Troops into Transportation focuses on applicants that have been pre-hired by partner carriers. Once hired, students begin the initiative’s certification program and supplemental training offerings.
