Leadership Skills for Future Success
Management in every business must possess the right leadership skills to motivate their staff and be successful properly. A leader must be able to show empathy towards their employees. The leader must be able to see situations from someone else’s perspective and try to relate to them. This will show employees that they have a leader who really cares and has their best interests in mind. Leaders must also communicate with employees about various aspects of the job and cultivate a culture of open communication amongst employees and management.
Flexibility is becoming more normal in the workplace, especially with the global pandemic forcing many to work remotely. A leader must understand that regular office hours do not apply in most situations now, and trust their employees enough to get the work done without setting restrictions on working hours.

Using Golf Gloves
Albert “Al” Hanley III spent nearly two decades working at The Commercial Driver’s License School, Inc., ultimately serving as president and CEO. He is currently the division president of Transforce Group, where he is in charge of the training and education division. One of Al Hanley III’s responsibilities is the management of eight national training school branches and 100 employees. He also enjoys a number of hobbies, including golf.
The golf glove is a fairly ubiquitous piece of golf equipment, but is it really necessary? Golf gloves are not required to play the game of golf, but they are recommended. Their value lies in giving the golfer a more secure grip on the club, which is especially useful when a golfer’s hands are sweating.
Most professional players wear golf gloves. But some, like Fred Couples, do not. Some golfers wear two gloves, but most only wear one. The glove is typically worn on the leading hand, which is the hand closest to the butt of the grip. This hand leads the golf club through the swing. For right-handed golfers, this is the left hand.
Most golfers, including virtually all pro golfers, take off their golf gloves when putting. Having nothing between the hand and the putter improves the tactile feel of the stroke.

Job Training and Placement with Troops
A transportation and logistics professional with several decades of experience, Albert (Al) Hanley III has served as division president of Transforce Group in Alexandria, Virginia, since 2018. Formerly the CEO of the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) School, Al Hanley III led the organization to support Troops into Transportation, which has helped more than 5,000 veterans find employment in the transportation industry.
In operation since 2012, Troops into Transportation recognizes that the transition from military to civilian life can be difficult. To support service members in securing employment, Troops into Transportation prepares eligible veterans to receive a Commercial Driver’s License and join a partner trucking company. Licensed and approved by Florida state licensing agencies, the CDL school trains veterans through the GI Bill, providing instruction on all aspects of commercial vehicles, from vehicle inspections to full on-road training.
Troops into Transportation is a Job-First Program, which means it utilizes its vast network of partner companies to pre-hire veterans before they begin training. Operating in regional training and recruitment facilities nationwide, Troops into Transportation also provides full benefits for students during their training.

Three of the Best Stephen King Novels
For nearly three decades, Albert (Al) Hanley III has worked in the transportation industry. He has held several positions at the Commercial License Driver’s School, Inc., and is currently division president for education and training for Transforce Group, a transportation and logistics workforce service company. In his spare time, Al Hanley III likes to play golf, hike, and read, particularly Stephen King novels.
A prolific author, bestselling novelist Stephen King is best known as a horror writer, but has works in multiple genres. Here are some of his more popular works:
The Stand is a huge, doorstopper of a book. It is about a plague that wipes out nearly all of humanity. In the aftermath of the plague two groups emerge, one group is led by a good-hearted woman called Abigail, the other by a demonic entity called Flagg. The Stand is about the confrontation between these two groups.
While The Shining was a King novel before becoming the famous horror movie, he’s said he didn’t like the movie adaptation, and many believe that the book is vastly different. The Shining is about a family vacation in a haunted hotel. The supernatural nature of the hotel is exacerbated by the child’s extra sensory perception.
Stephen King’s take on vampires can be found in Salem’s Lot. Set in in an American town, it is one of King’s earliest novels and a much-appreciated addition to vampire lore. It is about a town in Maine whose inhabitants are preyed on by a vampire. King shows the townspeople reacting in a very modern way - denial. This reaction results in nearly the entire town being victimized until an intrepid group decides to fight back.
